Are you trying to say you weren't poking fun at her?

Accent Shmaccent! I meet her two or three times a week jogging round and about our fair isle and she's always got something nice to say.MMDad said:Yes, she is nice and very friendly, but are you trying to say she doesn't have an accent?

Dork said:There's on next to Roland's in Chesapeake Beach too. Not bad, but not really fancy. Food is good. There are a few in Prince Frederick and Dunkirk. .

Gallntfox said:That Chinese joint next to Roland's in Ches Beach is NASTY. Only surpassed in nastiness by the Honk Kong place next to Safeway in Dunkirk. The new place that opened up in the Giant shopping center in Dunkirk is at least edible but nothing to write home about. Calvert County needs a nice sit down Chinese joint with good food.

SkinkTyree said:It was called Emperor's Delight. It was my absolute favorite restaraunt growing up as a kid. Truly an authentic chinese restaraunt, down to this crazy oriental style red wallpaper and a beaded doorway to the restroom area.
And the food was always top notch. Nothing was better than when they came out with the silver serving platters and you opened them up to a nice puff of steam.
It broke my heart when I heard it closed down.
Dork said:You're probably right about the one next to Rolands. I prefer the food at the liquor store/chinese food place so I rarely ever to the one near Rolands. It didn't look to clean but the food I took out was OK. I'll have to try the one near Giant for the heck of it. I would agree we need a good one in Calvert. besides the one in Solomons, of course.
ymn said:I think the name of the new restaurant near Giant is Cafe East. It is a carry out, but they have a few tables so you can eat in. The food is okay.
