You cared enough to give me red Karma...

Chipotle 06-01-2007 10:55 AM Sorry no tears. I could really give a ####. It is just another congestion producing element at that intersection.

I wish they'd hurry up. I'm hungry.

I'll welcome just about any new food option to the area. I guess this area likes their mexican food! Speaking of- the new mexican restaurant in Leonardtown where the old Mattingly's was is really good. I got a huge fajita meal for $5.50. They are very nice, prompt service, and good food (in my opinion).

We need a Baja Fresh. They give you complimentary chips and have a salsa bar. And they have yummy fish tacos.

I think Chipotle is a bland version of Moe's. Besides, Moe's gives you complimentary chips and salsa - what does Chipotle have to offer?
I always thought Chipotle was higher quality. I think their chicken is much better.

It has been a while since I've been to Chipotle, so it will be interesting to see if it's as good as I remember.

Well the gas station that was there kind of died a slow death. That intersection isn't able to handle the traffic it has now. Why add to that ? I rarely see anyone walking on or near 235 at that intersection unles they have a death wish.
LOL, beat me to it. The answer is more then likely that it was one of the few properties zoned for that use. That parking lot sure can't handle more then 6 cars, don't know what they will do if they have customers. But hey, what's one more driveway on 235 and right at the intersection.

I thnk the gas station died because of the Sheetz across the street and being bookended by Wa Wa.

I doubt it will add any more traffic than the Dash In contributed. As far as parking, the gas station could handle 8 cars at the pumps and 6 or 8 at the store so with the pumps gone it should be more than 14. As ylexot pointed out though, this area does not know what good mexican food is.

I don't know but that seems like a really crappy location for an eatery, take out type or not.

not for me--i'll pick it up and be home in about 2-3minutes and i'll enjoy my food while it's still hot

Just be thankful it is not a salsarita..That place is horrible!!

Yea, what is up with that place? I know I'm asking for trouble buying Mexican food from a bunch of pasty faced white kids, but at the very least you'd think they'd know how to wrap a burrito so it doesn't fall apart in my hands.

Well, I had Monterey for lunch. Don't think it gets any better than that....does it?

I hope you are kidding! We ate there when we first moved here and that was the worst Mexican food place we have ever eaten! :barf: Then we tried Moes, Much better but not nearly as good as Chipotle. Can't wait for it to open! Coming from Texas we sure do miss GOOD Mexican food!
