Exactly! :yay: We aren't only talking about blue collar courses and certifications either... they offer a number of white collar courses too. I imagine it would give a student a leg up should they decide to continue their education after high school. I would think a college who had to chose a student based on high school activities would favor a student who followed and stuck with a career path rather than mosey about for 4 years.

My 16 yr old is taking Computer Aided Drafting and Design....My oldest was in the Computer Networking course

My 16 yr olds counsler said that the CADD course(as most of the courses at the TECH center) transfer credits over to most colleges....with that and the honors classes he is taking he could skip his entire freshman year.

My nephew goes to NorthPoint and has done so well. Before he went he never liked school and fought doing homework. Now he loves it, and he is learning a trade for the real world. I am pretty sure he is doing marine mechanics since his father is a marine mechanic.
