Christian Rights = Islamic Rights??? NOPE

One thing that the Koran makes very clear and the Hadith echoes and codifies is that 'people of the book' are NEVER to be treated the same as muslims.
There have been numerous cases under Islamic courts that prove that the rights of any westerner is clearly not equal to any Muslim's rights.

The case above is a modern version of this: Dozens of muslims were complicit in the bombing in Bali (killing 202) and across the board their sentences were just reduced. The LONGEST sentence was 16 years and now that has been cut. Many of the conspirators will be out in less than 2 years.

Any damage, maiming, murdering of a westerner is but a trifle under Islamic courts....but, imagine the sentence if you tossed a Koran,...or taught that Muhammed was a good leader but not a prophet.
Would you get your sentence reduced for good behavior?

Let Women & Kids starve...

http://news.independent.co.uk/world/africa/article306582.ece

Problem in Niger...Fathers/Husbands are hoarding food to sell for profit (that was donated) while their families starve....

Note this little phrase: "are also predominantly Muslim with patriarchal cultures..."

The article says that the problem seems to be endemic to that region and not so prevalent in neighboring countries BUT...only to a lesser degree.

A woman I know was going to marry a Muslim and move to the Middle East until she found out that she would have no rights and, according to her, be held in less esteem than a horse and much less than a camel. :lmao:

While reading these links, a knock came upon my door. It was the "Swans" man, incase you're not familiar they deliver food. I only order on occasion because I like some of their stuff.

Turns out the swans man is a Muslim. I dislike this feeling that has come over me. The food is in the freezer and I'm wondering if I should eat it.

Bad I know, but I can't help it.

BUT we must accept them and respect their beliefs. :duh:
I'll go along with half of that. I will respect them and their right to their beliefs, but I do not respect their beliefs. There is a difference.

Yes. How about you? Can you honestly say you would not?
The majority of us don't suffer paranoid delusions.

I would be concerned if his behavior was suspicious. Such as if he was talking about jihads or openly praising Bin Laden. Or if he appeared to be casing my house. Or (especially) if he was wearing a long coat in hot weather with bulges underneath the coat.

I think, too. I was just being honest about having the thought.

Okay. The guys that killed 3,000 Americans were real informative.

Goofing_Off has demonstrated to me that he/she/it is only interested in causing trouble for his/her/its personal entertainment. He/she/it shows no real thought; just inflammatory comments trying to provoke argument.
