For your consideration ...

Just think? Instead of sending meme texts or emails, we could save the USPS by everyone sending all kinds of cards, not just Christmas cards. And, to assist the USPS, budget wise, ya know all those postcard sized order forms in magazines, fill them out with made up names and addresses and mail them out. The magazine owners get billed for the postage. Come on now, everyone can do their part. Together, we can save the USPS.

Just sneakin' around....
Yup. Every year. But I do notice I get fewer in return each year.
So, going back to this....

Yes, fewer cards every year. But something new? My brother says they are no longer sending Christmas cards, but rather New Years cards, and just got his. I also got 2 others, both clearly New Years and not Christmas.

Is this the latest thing?

I purposefully send my Christmas cards a day or 2 after Christmas so they are noticed and not involved In the hustle and bustle of all the preparations leading up to Christmas. Of course my unconventional Christmas letter will get noticed regardless…

But yeah, I have a Christmas card list of more than 2 dozen people that I mail to. I receive about a dozen cards/picture postcards in return.
