When giving something to my son's daycare provider for Christmas, is it supposed to be a gift or a bonus or both?

For my day care provider I normally do $100.00, for my babysitter I give her $40, and then for the girls at the gym who watch them I do a gift card to starbucks.

The girls that work in Day Care Center really don't make much money ( my daughter has worked in Day Care as did I for many years ). Gift Cards are really nice (any kind ) StarBucks/Target/etc...I love the idea of the Visa Gift Card, they can use it any place and will help them with their Christmas shopping even if they wanted to use it at a Food store to buy Christmas dinner stuff. I remember how hard it was for me when I was young and worked in Day Care and had children of my own. Gift Cards would be a great gift. Or a Big Bonus!!!
