You can elaborate on the whole football idea. For example, they have a blow up "receiver" that has a built in net behind his hands and boy can use him to practice throwing balls. The blow up guy and a few extra footballs will make a decent boxed gift.Pete said:Boy is not giving me any ideas this year. All he wants is a pair of "recievers gloves" for football. I hate to tell him the gloves won't help his "hands of stone".
Help me out.
That has possibilities. He is totally eaten up with football. He has tons of Redskins stuff and he is already trying to talk me into letting him blow his $50 at FedEx Field Sunday.kwillia said:You can elaborate on the whole football idea. I might look into that. He has my "coordination and grace" gene. He needs all the help he can get.kwillia said:This may sound silly but hear me out... he has a Playstation 2, right? Well, get him the "dance pad" and a Playstation 2 "dance" game that coordinates with it. It simulates the "dance" video games you see in the mall and at hyperspace where you have to follow the arrows on the screen using the correct steps on the pad. It is fun and will increase his coordination.
It really is fun. And it can be set up for "competition" where he can do it first and get scored and then you can do the same dance and get scored. Just be sure to let me know what night is "dance" night so I can peek in the window...Pete said:I might look into that. He has my "coordination and grace" gene. He needs all the help he can get.

My biggest kid (the 40something) got a great deal on one and that was his early present for this year...Pete said:Have I got a deal for you, your kid want a 4 wheeler?
The beauty is that I can actually see Boy getting some use out of it because it will help him with cardio, speed and coordination... and Boy's dad WILL play along which will make for some fun times.Dougstermd said:i bought that for TLs daughter for her birthday this summer. I do not think she uses it anymore.
I am thinking about getting the kids those gameing chairs that have built in speakers. It hurts my back to play X BOX sitting on the boy's bed

Aw it would be perfect for him 100cc, 2 stroke, throttle limiter, shut off tether, electric start, auto oil injection, headlights.onebdzee said:NO!
and don't you get near him and mention anything about that it!
onebdzee said:It's called "Dance, Dance Revolution"....go to Game Stop over by Best Buy and you can get the whole set up for real cheap
We went thru the "revolution" about a year or more ago and I banned it from my house when they started to knock the pictures off the walls
Dougstermd said:i already bought one and i bet i can get it back real cheaper
If he likes to practice catching, get him one of those net backboards that you throw the ballls on and it bounces back. Doug's hobby shop in Hollywood has cool things for a ten year old. Get him movie passes and let him select what movies he wants to see. A Kings Dominion season pass is also an idea. I was able to snag a "wee" nintendo system for a friend of mine's ten year old today, which is also an idea if you can get one. If all else fails, find him a ten year old girl....... :shrug:Pete said:Boy is not giving me any ideas this year. All he wants is a pair of "recievers gloves" for football. He still thinks girls have cooties. But I am afraid he may be onto my ruse.harleygirl said:If he likes to practice catching, get him one of those net backboards that you throw the ballls on and it bounces back.
