Here's an abandoned cat that River Rat rescued at a landfill with her babies, then she spayed and nutured everyone and found homes for the kittens. Here's the momma here for Christmas - she claimed a stocking and a home.

You should send one in to a cat calendar. One year I got those 365 day cat calendars (on sale at Target or Walmart) and it had a form to submit your own photos for consideration. Sure enough, our Meeny, then a kitten, now a big lug, curled up in a Santa hat became Mr. December 15!
