You need to submit that in some kind of photo contest. Almost assuredly to win something. Simply beautiful.

You know the house I'm talking about, don't ya'?

They started hangin' out on the dead tree at the entrance to the neighborhood, then moved to the house across the street.

B's simple ass... We lived right on the Potomac when we were in Indian Head. Our yard and a path maybe 50 yards long down to a little beachy area. One day when I was pregnant with the babe B comes running into the house hollering that I have to come outside and see these eagles in the tree. I got outside and there were probably 8 (give or take a couple) turkey buzzards perched in the tree. I about fell over laughing. Eagles.... :killingme

This IS a captive bird: a red tail hawk, blind in one eye and used for educational purposes at a bird rescue in Virginia...

Speechless - absolutely gorgeous. I hope I have an opportunity in my lifetime to see something that spectacular.

Good job! :howdy:

Thanks!
There are many bald eagles here in SOMD. Just have to go and look and wait...and wait...
If you have a boat, check the creeks along the Patuxent.

Absolutely Spectacular! It's amazing the beauty, grace, and dignity they put forth. Of course, they are vicious birds of prey, but still, they look amazing!

Ink, do you know what kind of bird this is? It was hanging out in a tree across from my front yard eating dinner.
