There was an accident on the Calvert side of the bridge this morning just before 7:00. It was just before the bridge (probably some speeding idiot trying to cut in at the last minute, as usual). The police/fire/ambulances were on the scene, and they diverted traffic through the access road, under the bridge, and up the ramp from Solomons to the bridge. All in all, about a 15 minute delay. Very messy out there. The bridge is usually in better shape than it was this morning. Can't wait for the trip home!
