My wife needs to take ESL classes and maybe other classes as well.
Also, wherever there's a college there are bars and more nightlife. :D

St Mary's Co Public Schools Adult Edu. Program offers ESL classes twice a week at both the Church right by Gate 2 of the Base in the daytime and nighttime at Gt. Mill HS. the cost is only for the books which last year was $15. My wife took it last year and enjoyed it..

It's not easy being green
College of Southern Maryland has a Prince Frederick campus too, which is a little closer to Lusby than either Leonardtown or La Plata.

Check out: www.csmd.edu

Like was said there is not a lot of choices.

College of SOMD which is basically a Community College, they have 3 locations Prince Frederick and Lenardtown are apprx. the same distance from Lusby, then there is a campus in Laplata which is a bit further.

Then there is St. Mary's College of Maryland which is in St.Mary's City, this is a more of a traditional 4 yr. school as opposed to CSM and always ranks high every year in value for the education you recieve.

CSM actually has campuses in all three southern MD counties. Prince Frederick, La Plata, and Leonardtown.

Thanks for all of the info!
I was there for about a day and got to see just a little bit of Prince Frederick.

I'll have to come back and look for housing.

How about the nightlife?

I'm a student at St. Mary's College. Its a very goo school. The only public honors college in Maryland. Education-wise, its definitely the best.
