I miss "The Happy Clam" restaurant (destroyed by hurricane). Best homemade peanutbutter pie I ever had. Wilkersons has some but it's not homemade.

They used to have casinos on piers with slots. (the potomac is all in MD) The last "Pier" bar got blown out in the hurricane last year. They had keno and off track betting in addition to bands and booze.
Think they're still lamenting the easy gambling money instead of developing the beach front.


By the way, did any of the "thuggish" types have a bike like mine?

Nope these were Teens (late Teens) that looked like they were just looking for trouble.

I loved "The Happy Clam" and was so sorry to hear that Isabel got it. I think I've only gone to Wilkerson's once and remember it was okay but nothing spectacular.
