Maybe you don't understand because my point is correct but the way I presented it was confusing.

In the early 70's Flaming Richard was, after all, only 30 whereas Foxx and others were much older then. Pryor is just a year or two older than my folks. His formulative years were the 50's and 60's, not the 30's and 40's.
