You are right, not much of a real corvette left on it.
I only hope that it was a hopeless wreck when he started !

Did you know it was a split window vette? makes it even more special. have you seen its owner? Big F'n dude they call bear and the name fits! Don't even know how he gets in and out without the jaws of life.

I see him around Solomons a lot.
Saw him run out of fuel one day.

yeah I have seen him there as well. nice car though but hurts that someone hacked up a split window vette.

On separate note, the outfit taking pics of all the cars coming in and selling them later screwed up royally. They took the best picture ever of my car and used one of those cameras that takes pics for those little view finders you have to hold up to the light. They couldn't blow that up to 8X10. I was so pissed. Told them they should take same pics with both cameras so we have more options!!!!

Yeah, we see him around PF. I just think it's ugly. Vettes should have a classic look to them. I like my plain ole' girl.

I can't imagine anyone stupid enough to do that (but they are out there!).
It must have been a wreck of some kind, I hope.
The rear window partition (split window) can also be easily fabricated (again, I hope).

You have one? Pics? I love the prostreet look though it isn't the most comfy ride. That vette used to have different paint scheme. The damage is done so I look at it as a pretty nice ride that can't be turned back.

I want a Pro-street 1959-60 Impala with the big fins but won't be the guy to hack one up.

I saw a white 59 for sale in Prince Frederick about 6 or 7 years ago.
I stopped and looked. It was pretty well junked (but all original). Looked like it was a police issue 'cause it had the spot light rig on the driver's door.

My dad ended up selling his to my cousin who rolled it. He said that the
wings just lifted it up into the air :lmao: (he was drunk !).
