It seems the American public has a huge attitudinal hurdle to overcome before electing first female pres. Probly a lot of folks would be more concerned looking for the run in the panty hose instead of qualities of the woman running.

Yeah, American society, in my opinion, is still not ready for a female leader. Other countries have had queens for centuries and so they are used to the idea, where as we are still a reletivly young country founded my traditional protestants with the ideal patriarical society in mind. I don't think now it will happen, but within the next 50 years probably.

Elizabeth Dole gave it a good try, but woman don't donate as big a check as men do. They were selling the centerpieces for $5.00 at the fundraising dinners. That's not going to get it. Woman not raising enough money is one thing that will keep them from running with the big dogs.
