who the hell decided ties were a good thing as well
I may be in the minority, but I like wearing ties.
I didn't used to, but as my thirties progressed and eventually waved bye-bye in the rear-view mirror, I started to like wearing them more and more. In fact, I love the entire ritual of getting out the shower, brushing teeth, putting on foo-foo, tucking a crisp shirt into a pair of pants, putting on some shiny accoutrements and bundling it all up in a tie.*
I don't enjoy it as much as putting on a concert-tee, cut-offs and flip-flops, grabbing a sammich and going to the pool - but I still enjoy it.
*I've actually started considering switching to a bow tie. And growing a mustache with handlebars, and switching from glasses to a monocle. I figure with a shaven head, I could look just like the monopoly man.
