Computer Scan for "check engine" light

what did you ever find out about your "check engine light"?

There a new product on the market that takes the guess work out of reading the codes. The new Hypertech programmer, comes with a touch screen LCD, tells you specifically what is failing in your car and also allows you to erase the code and thus turn the check engine light off. It runs about $800 but for cars that are out of warranty, it may be worth it.
Looks like it is due out in March.

www.quadratec.com is taking pre-orders for it if anybody is intersted.

That damn thing will get me in trouble though. I don't need another 100 Hp or any more torque...no need to be laying 200 ft long stripes on the Canadien roads. :lmao:
