Yeah I think your right Jameo. I think that kind of stuff might just be better to do as exercises later.

Instead of regulating the picture taking, why not limit the post processing.

I wasn't suggesting regulating the picture taking, it was more to help people learn how to use the manual and priority modes.

There are quite a few people in the forum with DSLRs that have asked others "how do you get your picture to look like that" or general questions on setting. If people are interestedin something to help use those modes we can do something else another time.

JEB, I didn't think you were pointing a finger. I was just explaining what my intentions were. After yours and others inputs on that, I think that kind of thing would be better to do as a weekly exercise for those interested.

This weekends forecast.......shoot inside!

I would be up for another photo hunt. If I can find the time, with this new job they really expect you to work all day, darn the luck, lol

I am still working on the list for the next hunt. It is coming along pretty well. I think it may be ready for the weekend of the 27th or anytime there after. Any suggestions or objections for certain weekends?

How about you post a tutorial (or a link to one) about something . Then as a contest people can apply the newly learned skill . Lets say Depth of field ,Motion brur , or something like that. Post a poll for the tutorial topic and roll on from there.
