What are the odds that this convoy gets harassed by the gestapo on their route to DC and are pretty much dispersed before getting there? This donations will be frozen just like Canada.

We just got back from grocery shopping, and it was Saturday busy there!!! This is our normal shopping day. We got up to the register and the cashier mentioned how much busier than usual this was for a Tuesday and mentioned this... so word is getting around and people are grabbing groceries today - fully loaded carts. :(

While the convoy is certainly good for optics, I think it would be better (as mentioned before) to have them just stop running/driving. Park at home or truck stops, or Walmarts, or where ever. This will certainly save them money in fuel costs and you will see the major disruption in the supply chain. The police/Feds can't block them or disperse them.
Just sit back and watch the chaos.

excellent chart black dog!!!

This past Friday, I got up at 5ish a.m. and completely re-organized our pantry. I pulled everything out, tossed some expired stuff and donated a 2 large boxes of canned food plus some canned goods that I had on hand that came in boxes. I had 12 cans vegan burger, 12 cans of jackfruit (both meat substitutes) plus tons of soups and vegetables and some dry goods and beans. All this stuff is due to expire late 2022 or early 2023. When we dropped them off at the food bank, my husband warned them prior he had a large "vegan" donation before taking it out of his truck and I was surprised, they were happy to get it. Apparently, they are already seeing these items in short supply and do get request for them.

I bought these things when the covid shutdown happened and can doctor them up to be useful, but I think we'd rather shoot a squirrel or bunny to survive, if needed. ;)
What do you do with jackfruit and what does it taste like, I've seen them around and it was just to big to buy on a whim.

Ripe jackfruit is naturally sweet, with subtle pineapple- or banana-like flavor.

I have made tacos and BBQ but here is a place for other options. https://www.yummly.com/recipes/jackfruit?prm-v1=1

I made it for a party once and several people ate it and liked it but once word got around that my BBQ was vegan (thanks to my husband), it sat. I bought it all just to try it although I am not vegan. I find it crazy that a fruit can be used as a meat substitute and used in custards and cakes. They say it is a food that could save the world. It is easy to grow, cheap, and has nutritional value.

I went yesterday around 10am and everything was stocked and the place was empty. Lots of good sales too, bacon for $3/lb.

Ours was stocked pretty well - cat food is still bare but that is in most places right now and has been ongoing on/off for 2 years.

Our truckers were at the capital back in 2013. I forget the reason, but I actually went up for that event. Even got to see Sarah Palin as she met the press.
That was a relatively small turn out to what I expect this one to be.

Democrat Congressman: Seize Trucks From Protesters Headed To D.C., Give Them To Growing Businesses

Notable responses included:

  • Dana Loesch, radio host: “Also known as theft.”
  • Kurt Schlichter, political commentator: “Siding with foreign dictators.”
  • Robert Arce, former law enforcement official: “Will your distribution of wealth be done at gunpoint?”
  • Nick Searcy, actor: “Why don’t you just murder them like a good communist, @RubenGallego?”

Gallego’s tweet comes after Canada’s leftist government enacted harsh measures, which have been widely criticized as being totalitarian in nature, to end the trucker protests in Canada.

Steve Bannon's WAR ROOM will be covering it

I can't believe that after watching what's been going on in Canada, they're still going ahead with this. The Demonrats now have a template, watch them execute to it.

i didnt see anything abnormal heading into dc. other than a snow plow pulled over with 4 dc police behind it. heavy traffic though. not one truck other than the snow plow.
