NASCAR Cook Out CLASH - 2 February @ 6PM on FOX

Annual.NASCAR Non Point Race to start 2025 season is held this year @ Bowman Gray Stadium in WINSTON SALEM , NC .
Have no idea of Rules & Format because usually NASCAR in its divine Wisdom, feels the need to change every year

Bowman Gray Stadium is only 100 miles & less than 2 hours away from me .

Looks like same as last Year which didn't make too much sense then & still not now
I like the format they used where each driver picked a starting position at random from.a Budweiser bottle.
Logano was UNDER AGE, so Zippy had to pick for him

It makes a little sense to me, hear me out. A quarter mile track is a tiny, tiny, small track. So you have to whittle that down or they'll wrap the entire track, twice. So top 5 in 4 heats makes 20 drivers in the main, another two from the last chance qualifier, and whoever is left will be highest points from 2024 for a total of 23 drivers in the main. 1/4 mile is a small track!!!

The dirt track in Budds Creek, Potomac Speedway, does the same because it's so small.

They should let the slow drivers lead the race from the pole positions. Think of it like a handicap in golf or bowling.

Like your Reasoning for Only 23 Drivers , but why not the TOP 16 from Last Year Playoffs and remaining drivers compete for the the final 7 Spots. Logano would get the POLE as the 2023 CHAMPION

My opinion: NASCAR just can't stop screwing everything up.

If I had my way The Clash would still be at Daytona, on the BIG track!
