New ownership and management in LP has hired police to work part-time for security purposes. The new owners are going to be doing a phased complete renovation. They want to make a lot of changes...and we need it!

Did you tell them to be quiet? Politely at first; then more adamantly; then go get the manager. If they get rowdy again, go get the manager again. Being a big guy, they usually shut up when I stand up, but hey, you have to be persistent. Get them tossed out of the theater. Carry an ASP and be prepared to use it when you leave.

Told the manager *and* the uniformed cop at the door. No avail. The next step would have been to escalate the situation. But I be damn if I go through all that for a bunch of punk kids. Yea, they got away with it, the manager allowed it, the cop allowed it, hell, I allowed it. The only way around it (I think) is that the manager and/or cop should have thrown them out. In today’s politically correct world, it’s just not in my best interest to get involved; I’d get thrown in jail before the punks.

 yep

I'd rather make some , get a blanket and watch a movie at home. It is way cheaper and a lot less aggravating.

That is sad. At that point, I would have told the manager I wanted a refund. If the manger would not give a refund, then I would get the name of the manger and file a complaint against the manager with Sony. I've done that before, too. Makes for change ... at least in management.
