Does anyone know what was going on in Bryans Road on Friday evening? There were cops everywhere and 210 was blocked off. Thanks for any info!

Stop Staring!!!!!
I don't think we have anyone here who listens to the Charles co. scanners. :ohwell:

No Lady I am to far to pick it up well and from my understanding the majority of it is encrypted anyway so it is hard to pick up.

Oh really? That's interesting.

I'd get a scanner but I'm afraid it would just annoy me.

I may be mistaken about the encrytion part but I am a bit familiar with this stuff and from what I read on it the majority of the Police stuff is encrypted.

Plus their system is Digital so you are looking at minumum of $400 for a scanner. And even after that if it encrypted you may only hear about 10% of the stuff.

Maybe someone more familiar with Charles County can chime in here and enlighten the both of us.

Thanks for the info James, but I don't understand the lingo. What's a code 4 and a PI? I kept hearing sirens and police cars well into the night. It looked serious whatever it was.

I normally don't reply unless it's significant, not having lived in Bryans Road for decades,

Considering that Charles Sizemore was the only Cop we had in Bryans Road years ago (hello Sizemore) someone got run over in front of the old "Crazy Carry-Out"? Anybody know who?
