Cordless tool brands

Nothing but trouble with any Black and Decker tool, I'll never buy one again. I really like my DeWalt tools.

I like mine pretty well, even the one that keeps slipping out of gear.
I like my Porter Cable 12v better, but don't like the charger much. I like the Bosch 12v best of all.

Dewalt is definetely my favorite, but it's also pretty damn expensive.

B & D is the parent company of DeWalt

I was aware of that, but the two tools are not built with the same standards. Every B&D tool I have has failed, while my DeWalts just keep running strong.

Milwaukee Tools are pretty tough, but DeWalt is good too.

Looks like Dewalt ad Bosch are the two most popular. Gonna go look at them this weekend.

If I recall correctly, B&D isn't making it's tools to it's standards from years ago, and they're suffering a lot of failures/problems. I don't know if they sold the tool-making division out to overseas or what ... can't remember, I was having a discussion with a guy at Lowes about it a few months ago.

B&D also makes Firestorm which is the low end of the tool spectrum. DeWalt is their top of the line.
