Corn Maze

My family went to the Bowles Family Farm over the weekend and had such a great time! My kids from 7-15 all had a great time. The corn maze this year is shaped like Cal Ripken.

They have a petting zoo, pumpkin patch, corn boxes, kids straw maze, play equipment shaped liked tractors, wagon rides (big and little) and the food there was even good.

Have fun and remember to get a map before you go into Phase 1 of the maze! You just may need it to get back out! :jameo:

Sorry, I didn't see the earlier posts on the corn mazes. I see someone said they had to replant the corn??? I didn't see any areas that were very short. Maybe we missed that part of the maze?

I am planning on taking my two this week-end. We're going to Casper's Castle next month at Serenity Farms in Benedict.

Where is Bowles Farm? That sounds like so much fun!
It's very easy to find. Take 234 off of 5 in Leonardtown. Stay on 234 until you see the big ole corn maze/pumpkin farm on the right.

Have they fixed up any? I went a couple times and the last time I went it wasn't very good. It was I think two years ago.

What is that?
Serenity Farms is located right over the Benedict Bridge (connects Cal Co and Charles Co, on Rt 231). They take you up to the petting zoo on a tractor/hayride, go visit the animals at the petting zoo and then get back on the tractor and head up to Casper's Castle which is like a haunted house but not scary. They had Blue from Blue's Clues, Spongebob, Dora the Explorer, etc to greet the kids. You go through the haunted house and find Casper at the end and he gives the kids a goodie bag. Then the kids can go through a hay bail maze, get their faces painted and pick pumpkins. Then you get back on the tractor and they take you back to your car. It was a really fun day.

You know I LOVE the corn maze, petting zoo and all the other stuff but they never seem to have good pumpkins we always end up going to the little road side country place on the other side of the road to get the pumpkins.

Caspers Castle used to have good ones. Bowles farm didn't when we went but everything else was fun. I can't wait to go.
