Corn Maze

Hmmm....:roflmao:

The boy is 9. We aren't going to want anything too easy.

Bowles farm is much better than Forest Hall Farm (I think that's the name). We've been to both several times. Bowles corn maze is nice and thick and you really can't see between the cornstalks. They also have stuff for the kids to play on, a nice hayride and you get to pick a pumpkin to take with you. The maze will take you awhile to get through though. They have some cute animals to pet as well.

The other corn maze on Rt. 5 is sometimes so thinly planted that you can see between the corn to where you are going. Finding your way out is super easy too. Some of the animals weren't very well-cared for either. The goats really needed their hooves trimmed.

I asked my family members and they all agreed Bowles farm is the best.

Hughesville :buddies:
Follow 5 south (Leonardtown Rd) all the way to WAWA where 5 turns into 235. Turn right at WAWA and follow 5 to right on 242 Coltons Point Rd. (just past St. Josephs church). Follow 242 to 4-way stop at Clements and turn left on 234 (Budds Creek Rd). Follow about 1.5 miles to left on Pin Cushion Rd. Bowles farm is on right,

From mid-calvert.
Go to Prince Fredrick and take 231 across Benedict bridge to Hughesville. Take Rt. 5 (Leonardtown Rd.) south thru Hughesville and follow directions I gave to Struggler (post 13).

You can't miss it. There's a giant Sponge Bob in the field. We are planning on going next weekend if the weather is nice. My kids are nervous we won't make it out of the maze. :killingme

Be sure to pack a lunch and water to continue to stoke the anxiety. Maybe even refer to them as "Children of the corn" a few times.
