Corn On The Cob for One

Railroad

Routinely Derailed
A few years ago I got some Nordic Ware corn-on-the-cob dishes ("boats"). I knew then that they were intended for use in cooking the corn in the microwave but never had the courage to try them for that use. Today I decided to experiment and was rewarded with perfect results.

I peeled the husk down on an ear of corn and removed the silk, then pulled the husk back up, laid the ear of corn in the "boat", and nuked it with the husk on, on "high" for 4 minutes. It came out perfectly. I took the husk off, buttered and salted, and it's delicious.

Sounds like a lot of work.
Just throw it in the microwave while still in the husk. Nuke it, husk it, salt and butter it

Yup..husk acts like its own moister blanket...and the silk comes off a lot easier...try 4 minutes and adjust as desired! :buddies:

YUM!!!
