Corporal punishment seen rife in U.S. schools

Why is everything viewed from the race angle? If the rules are the rules and kids are punished for breaking the rules, would it not be logical to wonder whey blacks break the rules 1.4 times more than other kids instead of alluding to racist teachers who arbitrarily whoop black kids but let white kids skate?

Also I was not aware that they still allowed this. After viewing the "My darling could not possibly have...." phenomenon I cannot imagine anyone not having an aneurysm if little Johnny got whacked on the ass for spitballs.

I never...

At your advanced age I am going to assume that a good ass busting was allowed in school when you were in knee breeches.

Did you ever get your seat warmed? Did it emotionally damage you?

...did anything wrong.

I got jacked up by the assistant principal once for fighting. I got it once for not having a book cover on my brand new history book within the deadline set.

In the Georgia public school system they believed in high velocity reinforcement of good order and discipline.

DALLAS (Reuters) - More than 200,000 children were hit as punishment in U.S. schools last year and in the South more blacks than whites are struck, two human rights groups said in a report released on Wednesday.

??And of those 200,000 children how many now have their act together???
Do the human rights groups have a report on that?
