Regarding 84 lumber, I highly respect the local (Lex Park) branch. I've done several major projects with them now (two complete structures totalling about 1600 sq ft, and a few other lumber packages) and I have gotten quality lumber, good prices, and great service. I'd be surprised if you had any serious problems with the lumber package this branch will provide for a garage.
With that said, as GLHS pointed out you get what you pay for - if you want more than the basics you will need to step up from their base package.
