Be prepared for a whole lot of nothing in SoMD. Move out as fast as you can.

Though, it does sort of grow on you. I went back to Fresno, CA last winter where they have absolutely everything. I was ready to come home. I couldn't handle the traffic and the fast pace. We've been here for over 21 years now and I'm kind of loving it.
