Costco vs BJs

Anyone know the comparison ? We have a BJs membership currently but our closest is in the Dorf and I'd just like to avoid that area. Costco is at Brandywine Crossing so I was wondering ??? Brandywine is closer for us and safer !

Costco is better. More of a variety.

Costco in Brandywine would be much better, and especially when you don't have to travel to get there

My Sister shops at Costco and the selection is much better than BJ's (JMO)

Her Costco is located in Frederick and the one in Brandywine might be different.

I would go with Costco to avoid Waldorf.

Scary place to me.

My Costco membership dues are coming up this month so I tried a free 60 day pass to BJ's yesterday. I was not impressed at all. I will definitely be renewing with Costco.

I have membership at both. Love Costco so much better but BJ's is a solution when I don't feel like driving to Brandywine if I'm not in the area already. However, I must say I think BJ's has stepped their game up a bit.

Costco all the way! No one understood what I was talking about when I would say what a dump BJ's was compared to Costco...until we got the one in Brandywine and I took them there. Ive had 6 people switch already. Wish they offered some type of reward for that  In fact I am taking my girlfriend there this afternoon so she can check it out.

I might not renew my Costco membership, as I really hate the trip to Brandywine. Also, the Costco there doesn't have many of the items that I used to purchase when living in other areas. I've learned to live with BJ's for now anyway.

Cheap pharmacy too, and no membership needed for that.

I wish Costco was closer to me. Living in Calvert, BJs in SMC is closest, Brandywine is a haul from here. I loved Costco when I lived in NY. :ohwell:

If.....

.....there were a Costco within a stone's throw of BJ's; just like the gas stations; ie; SHEETZ across from WaWa on 235; there would be competition for business.
Don't like the prices at one warehouse store; go across, or down the street to t'other one.
