The major problem I see is how do you ridicule these people at a funeral without becoming a part of the problem. They are there to disrupt the funeral, any ridicule helps them perform their mission.

Certainly they should be required to provide a million dollar bond against any problems that happen during their protest,before being issued a permit. First time they step over the line take the million.

These people are the scum of the earth.

I would say if the family of the deceased agreed to it and it occured while they were inside at services rather than as the procession was under way. I could see something like a group of the soldier's buddies marching out in formation and proceeding, in unison, to moon the Phelps clan.

See? They WANT that. You cannot humiliate these people - they WANT you to try so they can get the publicity.

The best thing that could happen, short of these people either dying or being denied permits to protest, would be for the press to completely ignore them and not give them the attention they seek.

If they hate america so much maybe they should go to mexico, or even better we coud send them to Iraq let them see first hand what our armed forces members deal with.

IMO the media fuels over 2/3rds of these dumbasses for their 15 minutes of fame and keeps these morons in our face untill a bigger dumbass comes along and then it's lights out!!! Cindy Shean is a great example...

I do agree that the best approach is to hurt them in the wallet...:coffee:
