Yes the police were there - but where are these kids parents? I saw what I call hoodlum types in all colors and sizes there - foul mouthed, brats with no thought but for themselves. It is a shame they are ruining this event. We'll be there today and tonight and hopefully have a better time. Many parents look to this as free childcare and let gangs of kids roam freely! Police need more backup to weed out the troublemakers and keep tabs on them. If they cause trouble - boot them out and they stay out for the rest of the fair!

Im going tomorrow.
I think I'll bring my taser along, that way when I hear the foul language, I just walk by and taser them in the ass.

seriously though, I have never seen any problems like that at either the Maryland state fair in Timonium, or at the AA county fair in crownsville.

Actually I know, but if I were to mention what was going on with reference to other cities and functions to prove my point, I would be called a racist and banned from the human existence for the rest of my natural born life.

What the kids need today is a good old fashion a$$ whippin like we used to get...I am a member of the AA county fair and we have offduty poilce officers that we the fair pay for security and we don't let anyone stay that is causin any type of trouble..the fair is a family event and we want all families to have a good time and not be harrassed or worried that thier kids or themselves are gonna get hurt there.

Kids are not getting the home discipline that they need. It seems to me that a lot of 'younger' parents are just lazy. My kid is 20 and 6 ft 4 in, and I am 40 and 5 feet 7 inches, but I will whip his A$$ in a heartbeat if he needs it. And any of his buddies butts too!! And they all know it.

Good to see my neighbors all made it out last night. Now I can go tonight and have a peaceful time. 
I think the problem is that people like that don't have much self worth and they tend to try and hide that insecurity by acting big, bad and ugly. Five fights is a lot and there must be some turf wars going on down here or since this is the cawntry some family wars.
It's sad that you can't separate the unruly from the well behaved at these events. I hope everyone planning to go is safe and enjoy themselves. Wave if you see me.

I definitely have to agree with you. Parents today don't want to parent. Too lazy to disipline their own children. They would rather sit and complain that no one is helping them. The community is not helping them raise their children. Well Bull Sh!t. No one helped you have them, so why does anyone need to help you raise them.
