Those eyes.....the voice.....the whole package. O.....M.....G!
Few years back at one of her Christmas shows in Baltimore, she came around the arena and was randomly picking people out and sorta interviewing them asking what they wanted for Christmas. I was one of the lucky ones, she picked me out and there we are sharing the same microphone, maybe 18 inches or so apart and all I could see were those big blue eyes of her. She asked me a question as to what i was having for Christmas dinner, here I am up on the big screen by the stage, I couldnt get my mouth to move to answer her question, I was in a trance. Once i did finally answer, she said she was coming to my house for Christmas dinner and gave me a hug (havent washed that sweater yet) and moved on through the arena.
Boy did I clean house on Dec 24th and on Christmas I keep looking for that big bus of hers to pull up, damn if she didnt stand me up.
