Cove Point Pool

We have a season pass this year. It never fails everytime we go a kid throws up:barf: in one of the pools and they have to close it. It happened again today. My question is don't the parents monitor the kids before they get into the pool? I don't let my kids immediately get back into the water after eating. That's just me. Not to mention if your kid can't swim that well watch them! They are ingesting water and it will cause them to eventually throw up! It seems to always happen right after adult swim when the kids are all eating for that 15 mins.

I used to lifeguard at in indoor pool and taught swim lessons. It was at a National Laboratory where you have many different cultures. It never failed that this one little girl from India would get herself SO upset over the lessons that she'd puke all over the place. And it was CLEARLY obvious what her mom had fed her just prior to coming. Like Reeses Peanut Butter cups. :barf: No matter what we asked her mom, she'd still feed the kid WAY too much of the wrong thing, and it ended up all over the deck.

And BTW, sorry you guys got gypped out of another pool session....

I've noticed most parents don't watch thier kids at the Cove Point Pool. It never fails that when they close the 2 large pools for adult swim for 15 minutes the kids pour into the baby pool area and cause complete havoc. More than once I have had to say a few things to others misbehaving brats because they are running over my tots. The life guard just ignores it all.

The lifeguards arent much older than them. It makes me mad when the kids jump off the side of the pool practically on top of you. When you say go jump off the diving board..they of course can't swim in the deep end. I've gotten to where I only go in when it's adult swim. They just started letting the kids go in the baby pool during adult swim. They need to stop it before a little one gets hurt.

Those pools are just way too small for the amount of people that want to use them. I miss the pool where I used to live. HUGE indoor pool and outdoor pool. Plenty of room for everyone to have fun. They even have enough room for 4-5 lap lanes on one side of the indoor pool.

Next year I plan on lifeguarding. None of those lil effers will get away with anything
