But they've already infected hundreds, if not thousands, of people who are exponentially infecting others. So those "more people" are going to be infected whether Bob does it or someone else does.

Daughter works in a medical building, so I understand that. Everyone else, I just don't know. Who's to say the cashiers at the stores haven't been exposed or the person handing you the carry out order? :jameo:

Either we all have been exposed to the virus, or it's not as contagious as "they" are telling us. And I typically err on the side of "the government is lying to me".

True..in the end the number of infected won't change., but if we all get it at the same time, many more will die, and many more will be unable to get care.

Limited contact slows (doesn't stop) each of us infecting each other.. and in the end we'll probably be <>10% of the total infected if we did nothing, BUT those that do get it will be spread over a 4 - 6 month period vice 30 days. Much more manageable at many levels.

I think that if the initial spread rate is slowed down enough, the number of infected/recovered/now-immune rises high enough that herd immunity prevents further spread, and eventually it goes away altogether before 100% infection rate.
