Okay so my cat ate something it shouldn't have ate... Have you ever bought bologna and have that red plastic ring around it? Well he ate two of those and he seems fine. Will it pass through or should I rush him to the vet?

I would call the vet and see what they recommend.

Watch your cat closely for the next 48 hours and pray.
Make sure both the rings are in the poop.
Yes, you will need to get your hands dirty.

ICit may have different advice, I would listen. It is possible for rings to bind up their intestines.

Ask a Vet: What Should I Do if My Cat Eats String? | Catster

If you google "Cat ate string" you will see tons of hits along these same lines.

If it were my cat, I would wait 48 hours, feeding and water per normal, and see what happens.

Well he still a kitten only 12-14 weeks old. But I will keep a close eye on him. I mean he eats everything and poops all the time!

Ken says to let it drink some antifreeze to help wash it down.
Problem solved.

How to Treat a Cat That Has Swallowed Thread or String: Tips: Animal Planet
Some of the signs to watch for are thread, string, or yarn hanging out of the mouth or rectum; vomiting combined with history of playing with thread, string, or yarn; and loss of appetite with those signs.

If your cat has swallowed thread, string, or yarn, use the following cat care tips:

Step 1: Approach the cat carefully. If your cat is nervous or anxious, restrain the cat if necessary.

Step 2: If nothing is visible, proceed to Step 3. If thread, string, or yarn is hanging out of the cat's mouth or rectum:

Step 2a: Pull on the material lightly. If you feel resistance, stop. Do not continue to pull the material.

Step 2b: Cut off the material as short as possible and proceed to Step 3.

Step 3: Give the cat one tablespoon of white petroleum jelly. Using a small amount each time, rub the jelly on the cat's mouth and paws. The cat will lick it off. Do not give the cat mineral oil.

Step 4: If vomiting occurs or the cat stops eating, transport to the veterinarian immediately.

Sorry, afjess, I know you are worried. A kitten will be more likely to have problems than an adult cat. You took such good care of the kitties you found in the attic. My cats got into chicken bones that I left out, and I was so worried, but it all was fine. Cats are amazing and adaptable creatures. I am sure the kitty will be ok. Keep us posted because I am sure others, as I do, feel like we know your cats.
