Crash Data Suggest Driver Error in Toyota ...

I thought we already knew, based on data of comparable complaints of other brands over time, that this was all a load of crap?
Can't be possible, the media told us this was a huge crisis, something had to be wrong.

Such huge media corporations, they must have investigated all the data, did those comparisons and set a proper context to the reporting, like any competent, responsible professional organization would.

I mean, the media would have to be filled with unethical, ignorant and biased people to get something like this so wrong.:sarcasm:

Beleive the Opposite of the what the Media tells you, more often than NOT, you'll end up being right in the end. There are still proving this axiom correct event after event.

Still don't understand why the U.S. Government did recuse itself in this, they have an inherint conflict of interest now that they own the majority of Toyotas American Competition.

Toyota should bring a unfair trade suit against the U.S. Government, trying to eleminate Competition for Profit.

Can we get a YouTube video of the Congressmen and Senators show boating in hearings against Toyota? Of course we won't hear a peep out those beating Toyota about the head, accussing them of all sorts of wrong doing.

Well there's a shock.

Old people kill, I'm tellin' ya.

:yeahthat:

Had an incident where an old man in an old man hat (they are always wearing those darn hats!) pulled a right turn right out in front of me at one of the lights on Rt 2 (I had the green light). Followed him for 2-3 miles to that 7-11 right before you get to 4. Took the guy NO KIDDING several minutes to take off his seatbelt, open the car door, and shuffle into the store. You know, like Tim Conway on Carol Burnett (but it wasn't funny). He had NO BUSINESS driving a car, which I very nicely pointed out to him by saying that he could have killed me and my son when he did that. His only answer was "I thought I had a green light" THATS when I not so nicely pointed out that I would call the cops and give them his tag number to check on his fitness to be driving.

Who knows, maybe I was too harsh and it was just that his accelerator stuck!!!!!

Walmart - Non Union
Toyota - Non Union
Apple - Non Union

Next big hub bub may be Apple's new Iphone that may have less then a perfect antenna. The media is winding up, lawyers are filing class action lawsuites, politicians are weighing in and expressing indignation that Apple has NOT done enough to fix this problem.

Will we see Steve Jobs testifying at a Show Boat Hearings on the Hill?

In My Opinion
So, does this possibly imply that there is an issue with placement or height difference between the pedals such that a panic driver can't tell the difference between them? Kinda tough to be pressing the gas thinking your pressing the brake in so many cases.

No,
I suggest that this implies that there is a link between idiocy and people that buy Toyotas/Lexus. (mostly Lexus)
This confirms what I have suspected due to observations on the Beltway in the morning.
