Good point. When I drink wine at home, it's not uncommon for me to have a glass that's....well....a little more full than the ones they give you in a restaurant! :otter:

well when you were in TAM class did they mention the Caloric(sp) valve? when you eat the stomach closes and begins digestion therefore it takes longer before the alcohol moves on to the asorption phase of digestion. So if you drink on an empty stomach the alcohol begins asorption imediately:blahblah:

eating first keeps that effect from happening as quickly

I really don't see how you came out with a .07 BAC from a single glass of wine :lol: even on an empty stomach :shrug: how long did yall wait to blow?

I think it was residule alcohol still in the mouth.

thus giving a falsely high reading. Just my experience and I have some experience with intoximeters:lmao:
