BURGLARY CASE #17-7654: On February 12, 2017, Deputy S. Rediker responded to St. Leonard Road, in St. Leonard, for the report of a burglary. The owner of the residence explained that a family member, later identified as Olivia Hefter, 23, with no fixed address, had asked if she could move in with them and they had told her she could not. Later the next day, February 13th, the homeowner went into their guest bedroom and found Hefter on the floor. She had broken into the residence in the middle of the night by damaging the basement door. She was transported to the Detention Center and charged with 3rd and 4th Degree Burglary and Trespassing on Private Property.

BURGLARY CASE #17-7621: On February 12, 2017, at approximately 3:00am, Deputy J. Ward was dispatched to Kings Landing Road, in Huntingtown, for the report of a burglary. Upon arrival he made contact with Grace Fadely, 22, of Lusby, who was outside the residence and had a strong odor of alcohol emitting from her breath. She appeared to be in a state of confusion and distress while attempting to explain why she was there (to help the dogs). The victim explained they do not own dogs and do not know Ms. Fadely. They had been awakened in the middle of the night by a loud banging noise from outside their residence. Damage to a glass panel of a rear sliding door was discovered and a front porch table leg was also broken. The victim stated the items were not broken when they went to bed. Due to the smell of an alcoholic beverage emitting from her person, Deputy Ward charged Fadely with Attempted Burglary in the Forth Degree, Malicious Destruction of Property Less than $1,000 and Disorderly Conduct.

BURGLARY CASE #17-6951: On February 8, 2017, at approximately 5:00pm, Deputy C. Callison was dispatched to Towanda Trail, in Lusby, for the report of a burglary. He met with the victim who stated someone had broken into their house and stole a black HP laptop that was sitting on their kitchen counter. Over the past two (2) days they had come home to find the front door unlocked and that today the laptop was missing. They searched the rest of the house and found that the basement door was also unlocked. This case is suspended pending further information.

CDS VIOLATION CASE #17-7488: On February 11, 2017, at approximately 12:00pm, Deputy G. Gott observed a vehicle traveling on Market Square Drive, in Prince Frederick, with a broken brake light. He conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Joseph Thompson, III, 52, of Hughesville, MD. Deputy C. Childress and his K9 partner, Flip, arrived to assist with the stop. K9 Flip detected a positive alert for contraband. During a search of Thompson's person, a plastic container was found in his right front pocket, containing sixteen (16) green pills (oxycodone). He was not able to provide proof that he was prescribed the medication. Joseph was placed under arrest for CDS: Possession of a Synthetic Narcotic (oxycodone) and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center. He also received appropriate paperwork for his broken brake light.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY CASE #17-7159: On February 9, 2017, Deputy A. Curtin was dispatched to Oakcrest Drive, in St. Leonard, for the report of damaged property. He met with the victim who explained he noticed his rear motion lights turn on, so had gone outside to investigate. He discovered his truck had been spray painted with orange paint. The investigation revealed the victim had prior verbal disagreements with a nearby neighbor and other witnesses were able to provide a description. Deputy Curtin then contacted Michael Turner, 57, of St. Leonard, who fit the description and who made statements incriminating his self. He observed an opened can of orange spray paint near Turner, orange paint on his index finger and jeans. He was arrested for Malicious Destruction of Property over $1,000.00 and transported to the Detention Center for processing.

DAMAGED PROPERTY/BURGLARY CASE #17-6921: On February 8, 2017, Deputy D. Naughton was dispatched to Overlook Drive, in Lusby, for the report of damage to property. After meeting with the complainant, he was advised a few weeks prior someone had broken into their home by kicking in the basement door. At that time Deputies had recommended additional steps to secure the basement door but the suspect(s) were able to bypass the additional security measures taken. The case be suspended pending further suspect(s) information.

DAMAGED PROPERTY CASE #17-6462: On February 6, 2017, Deputy A. Ostazeski responded to Foxwood Lane, a new home construction site located in Lusby, for a report of damaged property. He made contact with the complainant who advised sometime between 2:00pm on February 4 and 6:30am on February 6, two (2) excavators were damaged. Both excavators had their front windshields and control panels broken out from a large branch striking them. During the investigation several pieces of fabric and fencing had been found in the nearby woods, which were used to construct a small fort. Deputy Ostazeski also located an extra-large, black hooded sweatshirt and a children's tie-die shirt with "NJ" written on the tag. If anyone has any information pertaining to this crime, please contact the Sheriff's Office.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT CASE #17-6814: On February 7, 2017, Deputy R. Weems and Deputy J. Hardesty were dispatched to Pinecrest Court, in Lusby, for the report of disorderly subjects in the area. Upon arrival they located a male and female standing in Pinecrest Court and several residents outside looking to see what was going on. A third person joined the other two and began yelling while walking away. They were asked to stop the disorderly behavior, as their actions continued to draw attention of the neighbors. The subjects identified as Kirsten Townsend, 18, Tyree Johnson, 20, and Joshua Parker, 27, of Lusby, were all charged with Disorderly Conduct, Failing to Obey a Reasonable Lawful Order and Interfering with an arrest. Additionally, Parker and Johnson were charged with possession of marijuana on a civil citation.

THEFT CASE #17-12294: On March 8, 2017, Deputy R. Spalding was dispatched to the Prince Frederick Walmart store for a "check welfare" call. A complainant had called to advise they had observed a white female "huffing" from a can near the south entrance to the store. Upon arrival Deputy Spalding observed a female, matching the description, (repeatedly) huffing from a can and appeared to be [getting] sick. He approached her to render aide and noticed her speech slurred and her movements slow and lethargic. At that time a lost prevention officer informed Deputy Spalding that a store video shows Jennifer Woomer, 34, Chesapeake Beach, stealing the industrial strength Duster cans, she was using, from their store shelves. She was transported to the Detention Center where she was charged with CDS: Inhale Harmful Substance and Theft Less Than $1,000.00.

BURGLARY CASE #17-8382: On February 16, 2017, Deputy A. Ostazeski was dispatched to Catalina Drive, in Lusby, for a report of damaged property. While making contact with the complainant, he observed the front door of the unoccupied home forced open, the doorknob ripped off and the lock box broken and on the ground. Upon checking the inside of the residence, he determined nothing else was broken, damaged or missing. The complainant was not aware of when this incident may have taken place.

CDS VIOLATION CASE #17-8888: On February 18, 2017, Deputy A. Curtin observed a vehicle being driven in an unsafe manner heading southbound on Rt. 4, in the area of Ball Road, in St. Leonard. He initiated a traffic stop at MD Rt. 4/Calvert Cliffs Parkway and made contact with the driver, Charles Cochran, 33, of Front Royal, Virginia. Deputy S. Moran and his K-9 partner arrived on the scene to assist, resulting in a positive alert. Inside the vehicle Deputy Curtin located an unlabeled prescription bottle containing seventeen (17) pills. He also located a white balloon filled with an unknown white powder under the back seat. Cochran was charged with CDS Possession of a Synthetic Narcotic (alprazolam) and transported to the Detention Center for processing. The powder was sent to the Maryland Crime Lab to be analyzed.

CDS VIOLATION CASE #17-8703: On February 17, 2017, Deputy R. Spalding responded to the Detention Center, in Barstow, for the report of a CDS violation by an inmate. He was advised that Correctional Officer R. Montgomery discovered a pill taped to Todd Persell, 33, of Tracys Landing, MD when he arrived to serve his weekend sentence. He was charged with CDS Possession of a Synthetic Narcotic (Percocet) and Possession of Contraband in a Place of Confinement.

CDS VIOLATION CASE #17-8686: On February 17, 2017, Deputy D. Naughton observed a vehicle travelling in the Chesapeake Beach area with two (2) broken headlamps. He conducted a traffic stop in the area of Rt. 261 at Brownies Beach. When he made contact with the driver, Justin Wood, 27, of Mechanicsville, MD, he observed a hypodermic syringe in the driver side door pocket. Deputy Naughton stepped away to make note of his registration plate and noticed the syringe was no longer in the pocket when returning to speak with Wood. He was arrested for Possession of CDS: Opiate Without a Prescription (Tramadol) and Possession of Paraphernalia (hypodermic syringe).

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY CASE #17-8916: On February 19, 2017, Deputy V. O'Donnell responded to Tomahawk Trail, in Lusby, for a report of damaged property. He made contact with the victim who explained they were awoken by the sound of loud voices outside their home; and upon investigating, discovered their house had been 'egged'. No permanent damage was done and no suspects at this time.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY CASE #17-8859: On February 18, 2017, Deputy A. Curtin responded to Ross Road, in St. Leonard, for the report of damaged property. He made contact with the victim who stated someone had set off a firecracker in his mailbox, completing blowing out the front and back of the mailbox. It appears the damage was done by some type of mortar firework.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY CASE #17-8572: On February 17, 2017, Deputy P. Aurich was dispatched to Jones Road, in Dunkirk, for the report that someone had vandalized a home with eggs. The incident took place during the overnight hours of 10:00pm - 6:00am. There are no suspects at this time.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY CASE #17-8522: On February 17, 2017, at approximately 10:45pm, Deputy K. Williamson was on patrol in the Dunkirk area and witnessed a subject wearing a black jacket and ski mask, swinging an object and striking a vehicle parked in the Burger King parking lot. He then observed the subject jump into a waiting vehicle occupied by one subject. Deputy G. Gott arrived on the scene and assisted Deputy Williamson when making contact with the occupants. He determined Shantell Washington, 28, of Upper Marlboro, MD, a former Burger King employee, was the person responsible for striking the vehicle with a wooden baseball bat found in the vehicle. Also discovered on the floor was a 5" Defender Xtreme knife. Both the wooden bat and knife were seized as evidence. Washington was charged with Malicious Destruction of Property over $1,000.00, Malicious Destruction of Property under $1,000.00 and issued a trespass warning to stay away from the Dunkirk Burger King. The other (juvenile) occupant was also charged and released to their parents.

THEFT CASE #17-8358: On February 16, 2017, Deputy T. Rzepkowski was dispatched to Alexander Court, in Port Republic, to investigate a theft from vehicle. He met with the victim who stated at 9:00am that day, they went out to their vehicle and observed the front passenger window busted out. A black and tan Coach purse, they had placed under the seat at 11:00pm the evening before, was now missing. Also stolen are: a brown leather Coach Wallet, MD Driver's License, Naval Base ID card, credit cards and money.

THEFT CASE #17-8333: On February 16, 2017, Deputy A. Ostazeski was called to Mutual Court, in Port Republic, for a report of theft from vehicle. The victim explained a window was broken out of a vehicle sometime overnight and a purse was stolen. The purse and its' contents were located a short distance from the vehicle but nothing appeared to be missing.

THEFT CASE #17-8248: On February 15, 2017, Deputy S. Rediker responded to the Prince Frederick Walmart for a shoplifting complaint. The shoplifter, later identified as Justin Holt, 22, of Owings, was observed by security personnel taking two (2) Xbox controllers and placing them in his pocket and clothing. He was observed at the check-out register failing to pay for the controllers hidden on his person. Holt was placed into custody and charged with Theft Less Than $100.00.

CDS VIOLATION CASE #17-9680: On February 23, 2017, Deputy D. Naughton initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Solomon's Island Road/Patuxent Point Parkway, in Solomon's, that he observed operating with an obstructed windshield. Immediately upon contact with the driver, Nicholas Bohrer, 26, and passenger, Khari Blackwell, 25, both from Lexington Park, he detected a strong odor of raw marijuana emitting from the interior. Deputy J. Morgan, who also arrived on the scene to assist, located a clear plastic baggie and cut straw, containing a white powdery residue (cocaine). Bohrer and Blackwell both received a DC-45 Criminal Citation for possession of CDS Paraphernalia (cut straw) and were released on the scene.

CDS VIOLATION CASE #17-9635: On February 22, 2017, at approximately 7:15pm, Deputy D. Naughton conducted a traffic stop, at the intersection of Chisholm/Dalton Trail, in Lusby, on a vehicle operating with inadequate lighting of their rear registration plate. When he made contact with the driver, Marisa Ramos, 23, of Lusby, he requested a K9 to assist with the stop due to her behavior. Deputy R. Wilson and Deputy D. Denton arrived on the scene with their K9 partner, who alerted positive for CDS. A search of the vehicle revealed a black bag containing K2 Spice sitting under the driver seat and a small round pill (Oxycodone) was located inside a purse. Ramos admitted both belonged to her. She was arrested for Possession of a Dangerous Nonnarcotic Drug (K2 Spice), Possession of an Opiate Without a Prescription (Oxycontin) and Possession of Paraphernalia (black bag).

CDS VIOLATION CASE #17-9366: On February 21, 2017, Deputy T. Mohler witnessed a female driver texting on her cell phone, causing her vehicle to drift into Deputy Mohler's lane of travel. He pulled into the shoulder to avoid a collision and then was able to conduct a traffic stop at the intersection of Solomon's Island Road/German Chapel Road, in Prince Frederick. The driver, Heather Embrey, 32, of Lusby, advised she did not have her license with her and initially gave a false name. At this time Deputy R. Wilson, Deputy M. Trigg and their K9 partner arrived on the scene to assist. A K9 sniff of the vehicle indicated a positive alert for CDS. A search of the vehicle revealed a black zippered bag (containing a syringe, cut straw, silver spoon and baggie) all with a small amount of white powdery substance and a glass "Crack Pipe" was also found in her purse. Embrey was arrested for CDS Administer Equipment Possession/Distribute (syringe), Possession of Paraphernalia (zippered bag and cut straw) and Fraud/Presume Identity to Avoid Prosecution.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT CASE #17-9820: On February 23, 2017, Deputy N. Barger was dispatched to Discount Liquors, located at N. Solomon's Island Road, in Huntingtown, for the report of a stolen vehicle. He made contact with the victim who advised he parked his truck outside of the liquor store and intended to make a quick trip inside, leaving his truck unlocked with the keys in the ignition. Once he exited the store he saw his truck being driven south on Hope Lane. A lookout was broadcast and his truck was found abandoned along the wood line on Wilson Road, in Huntingtown. There were multiple damages done to the vehicle: the roof ladder was damaged, causing the bed of the truck to shift, damaging the bed cover and one of the two (2) back doors was broken off. Stolen from the truck were: a rear light, a red and black Coleman 9000 Generator (with a cold-cranking action), a black leather wallet (containing a MD Driver's License, Credit Cards and money) and multiple prescription medications. This case is suspended until further information is developed.

THEFT CASE #17-9611: On February 22, 2017, Deputy R. Kreps was called to Claggett Road, in Sunderland, for the report of a theft. Upon arrival the victim advised his 1998 Old Town Canoe was taken from his home sometime between 5:15am - 3:00pm that day. He described it as red in color and 16' 9" in length.

THEFT CASE #17-9591: On February 22, 2017, Deputy R. Kreps was dispatched to St. Andrews Drive, in Chesapeake Beach, for the report of a theft. Upon arrival the victim explained he had been working on a car in his driveway, using numerous tools which he had outside with him. He had a family emergency and needed to leave suddenly around 8:00pm; therefore, did not have time to put his tools away. When he returned he discovered the following tools had been stolen: a 35 gallon Craftsman Air Compressor (with the initials C.D. written on it), a 18v DeWalt Drill Combo set (a Drill and Impact Driver, two (2) batteries and a charger), a red four drawer Craftsman tool box, various hand tools (ratchets, wrenches, sockets) and multiple air tools (a 3/8" impact gun, a 1/2" impact gun and an air grinder).

CDS VIOLATION CASE #17-18867: On April 11, 2017, Deputy T. Mohler conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle speeding over the legal limit. He made contact with the driver, Charles Ramey, 34, of Bryans Road, MD, and was advised the reason for the stop. A K9 unit responded to the scene and gave a positive alert. Ramey was found to have a short straw and a one-dollar bill "fold" containing a white powdery substance in his left pants pocket. He was charged on a Criminal Citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (cut straw) and issued the appropriate traffic citation for speeding.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT CASE #17-19756: On April 15, 2017, at approximately 11:45pm, Deputy J. Harms conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near Barreda Boulevard/Rousby Hall Road, in Lusby, after witnessing the vehicle spinning tires in the roadway. While making contact with the driver, the passenger, Brandon Cornwell, 23, of Lusby, began yelling and cursing and would not remain in the vehicle. He was instructed several times to return to the vehicle and stop yelling, as he had drawn attention to himself, causing occupants to look outside and several vehicles to slow down to watch. After several futile attempts to get Cornwell to cooperate, he was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct and Failure to Obey a Lawful Order.

THEFT CASE #17-19497: On April 14, 2017, at approximately 5:00pm, Deputy C. Callison spoke with a victim reporting a theft from vehicle they had parked in the K-Mart parking lot, in Prince Frederick. The victim stated they left the vehicle for about 4 hours (8:00am - 12:00 noon) on April 11th. Upon returning they discovered several items missing from a tool bag they had left on the seat. Items include: a Snap-On Jacket, Power Probe, GPS Stream Light Flashlight, wrench set, multiple "hunting calls" (duck, goose, predator, turkey, deer) along with a box of turkey shot ammunition.

THEFT CASE #17-19101: On April 12, 2017, at approximately 5:00pm, Deputy G. Gott responded to Dusty Hoof Road, in Lusby, for the report of a theft. The complainant stated they called the police because someone had stolen a girl's white and blue bike they had hidden under an outside tarp up against their house. The bike was last seen around 1:00pm on April 10 and found missing on April 11 at 3:00pm. The victim also advised while searching for their bike, they located a silver and black bike lying along the wood line near their home (placed into property held for safe keeping until the owner can be located).

THEFT CASE #17-19076: On April 12, 2017, Deputy A. Locke was dispatched to Carter Avenue, in Dunkirk, for the report of a stolen bicycle. Upon arrival he made contact with the complainant who stated on either April 3rd or April 4th, someone stole a girl's white and pink mountain bike (had a malfunctioning gear shifter). If anyone has information pertaining to this missing bike, please contact the Sheriff's Office.

THEFT CASE #17-19071: On April 12, 2017, at approximately 1:30pm, Deputy A. Ostazeski was dispatched to the Prince Frederick Walmart store for the report of a shoplifter in custody. He made contact with the store's loss prevention officer who advised he observed a female customer, Dana Lee, 47, of Alexandria, VA, attempting to conceal clothing items and leave the store without paying. Due to the fact that Lee is not a Maryland resident, Deputy Ostazeski transported her to the Detention Center where she was charged with Theft Less Than $100.00.

WEAPON VIOLATION CASE #17-19335: On April 13, 2017, at approximately 8:00pm, Deputy R. Shrawder conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle travelling without a working tail light on St Leonard Road/Governor Run Road, in St. Leonard. He was advised this same vehicle was reported to be illegally transporting firearms. He made contact with the driver, Aaron Honeycutt Sr., 49, of St. Leonard, while Deputy R. Burgraff and his K9 partner, Taz, arrived on the scene and made a positive alert. Found inside the vehicle's trunk were three (3) guns and a silver box containing several types of ammunition. Due to a prior conviction which bans Honeycutt from possessing firearms or ammunition, he was arrested for Illegal Possession of Ammunition and Rifle/Shotgun Possession. He was also issued a repair order for the inoperative tag light.

BURGLARY CASE #17-20834: On April 22, 2017, Deputy A. Ostazeski responded Cowpoke Circle, in Lusby, for a report of a burglary. The complainant explained that after hearing a loud noise outside their home around 1:30am, they looked around outside and found the lock on their shed broken and the door left wide open. Items stolen from the shed: a red and white Honda 70 dirt bike and two (2) five-gallon cans of Kerosene.

BURGLARY CASE #17-20321: On April 19, 2017, at approximately 11:00am, Deputy C. Johnson was dispatched to Southern Maryland Blvd, in Dunkirk, for the report of a burglary. He made contact with the property manager who stated someone(s) broke into a vacant office space. The property was last inspected on April 17, when the front door to the business was locked. Today, April 19th, he discovered the front door unlocked and entry was made by an unknown object(s).

BURGLARY CASE #17-19984: On April 17, 2017, Deputy A. Ostazeski spoke with a complainant at the Sheriff's Office who wanted to report a burglary that occurred on Decatur Street, in St. Leonard. Around 9:00pm, on the evening of April 15th, the victim had inadvertently left a pair of 14K gold diamond stud earrings in the console of one of their vehicles. The vehicle was parked in the garage but it was left unlocked. Sometime during the night, an unknown person entered the garage and rummaged through their vehicle, stealing the earrings. Nothing else appears to be missing from the vehicle or garage.

CDS VIOLATION CASE #17-21000: On April 23, 2017, at approximately 2:30pm, Deputy N. Buckler was able to locate and conduct a traffic stop, at Northbound Rt. 4/Sheckells Road, in Huntingtown, on a vehicle that was broadcast as being driven all over the road. As he approached the vehicle from the passenger side, he observed the passenger side mirror was broken. When the driver and sole occupant, Grace Hammett, 31, of Glen Dale, MD, rolled down the window, he immediately detected the odor of raw marijuana and alcohol emitting from the vehicle. Hammett spoke with slurred speech and had red glassy eyes. A search yielded an orange pill bottle with marijuana, a clear plastic bag with marijuana on the driver's side floorboard, a cut plastic straw with residue, a pill bottle with no label, containing multiple CDS pills and an opened bottle of vodka. She was charged with DUI, DWI, Possession of Controlled Dangerous Substance-Not Marijuana, Possession of Paraphernalia and multiple traffic offenses.

DAMAGED PROPERTY CASE #17-21080: On April 23, 2017, at approximately 2:00pm, Deputy J. Ward responded to the area of Windcliff Road and Goldstein Road, in Prince Fredrick, for the report of damaged property. He spoke with one of the victims who stated a neighbor notified him that his mailbox was one of two (2) that were damaged. The damage occurred sometime between 8:00pm on April 22 - 7:00am on April 23.

DAMAGED PROPERTY CASE #17-20669: On April 21, 2017, at 11:00am, Deputy R. Shrawder responded to HG Trueman Road, in Lusby, for the report of damaged property. He spoke with the victim who stated that they noticed 2 holes in the siding of their house. The home sits along the edge of the golf course and the holes appear to be the size of a golf ball. Although it does not appear there was any intent behind the damage, there was no golf balls recovered from the area.

THEFT CASE #17-20743: On April 21, 2017, Deputy A. Ostazeski responded to the Patuxent High School for the report of a stolen iPhone 5s. The complainant explained that around 3:00pm they had placed their phone on a table within the Theater Department; when returning to retrieve it, discovered the phone missing. This case is suspended at this time.

THEFT CASE #17-20679: On April 21, 2017, Deputy J. Ward spoke with a complainant at the Sheriff's Office who wanted to report a theft. The victim explained that back in January he had parked his truck and trailer on Holiday Drive, in Solomons, and today discovered the tag on the trailer was missing. Due to the length of time, it is unclear when the theft actually took place.

THEFT CASE #17-19997: On April 17, 2017, Deputy A. Ostazeski was dispatched to Sedalia Trail, in Lusby, for the report of a theft. The victim explained his Jon Boat, that he stores along the edge of Lake Lariat, has been stolen. He last saw it around 11:00pm on April 15 and noticed it missing, today, around 5:30pm. The boat is silver/gray aluminum, twelve feet long and has a dent in the bow (front).

THEFT CASE #17-20003: On April 17, 2017, at approximately 6:00pm, Deputy A. Locke was called to Christiana Parran Road, in Chesapeake Beach, for the report of a theft. Upon arrival he made contact with the victim who stated someone stole a rear registration plate off of his motorcycle. The bike was parked on their back deck and was covered with a tarp on January 7th. It was on April 14th that he uncovered the motorcycle and discovered the tag missing.

THEFT CASE #17-19944: On April 17, 2017, Deputy P. Wood responded to Daybreak Drive, in Prince Frederick, for the report of a theft. He met with the victim who stated that an unknown suspect(s) had stolen the left front headlight and assembly out of their vehicle. The vehicle was last seen with the headlight on April 16, at approximately 2:30pm. It was parked in front of the house and was unlocked. Nothing in the vehicle other than the headlight was tampered with.

WEEKLY SUMMARY: During the week of April 24 through April 30 deputies of the Calvert County Sheriff's Office responded to 1,326 calls for service throughout the community.

BURGLARY CASE #17-22212: On April 29, 2017, Deputy R. Kreps responded to Bristol Drive, in Chesapeake Beach, for the report of a burglary. The victim explained that while replacing a door handle, he noticed pry marks on the frame and weather stripping around the door. The damage to the frame occurred within the last two (2) weeks; nothing appears to be missing and entry was not made.

BURGLARY CASE #17-21597: On April 26, 2017, Deputy J. Ward responded to Broome's Island Rd, in Port Republic, for the report of a shed burglary. The victim stated sometime after the 15th of April, someone entered his locked shed and stole two (2) Frigidaire window air conditioners. One unit has 5,000 BTU's and the other 8,000 BTU's. There was no damage or forced entry marks on the shed.

BURGLARY CASE #17-21299: On April 24, 2017, Deputy B. Sampson was dispatched to Joy Rd, in Lusby, for the report of a home burglary. Upon arrival he made contact with a witness who stated while he was cutting grass, he observed the rear basement door had been forced open. The damage took place sometime between the middle of February and the 24th of April. Nothing appears to be stolen from the house.

BURGLARY CASE #17-21254: On April 24, 2017, Deputy V. O'Donnell was dispatched to HG Trueman Road, in Lusby, for the report of a burglary. He made contact with the victim who stated someone had entered his locked garage, vandalized his 1990 Chevrolet Corvette and stole the radio. The last time the victim was in the garage and saw the Corvette undamaged was on April 21st. The door leading to the garage showed no signs of a forced entry. All body panels had large scratch marks, the interior of the Corvette had been ransacked and the radio's wires had been cut in order to remove the radio.

CDS VIOLATION CASE #17-22484: On April 29, 2017, Deputy R. Kreps responded to Roland's, in Chesapeake Beach, for the complaint of a disorderly subject. Upon arrival a witness explained they observed a black male repeatedly pulling his pants down. He located the male subject, later identified as Keith Lucombe, III, 28, of Huntingtown, who appeared to be under the influence. He approached Lucombe who kept placing his hands in his pockets after being told repeatedly to stop. A piece of paper (Suboxone strip) fell out of Lucombe's pocket and landed at his feet. At this time a search of his person revealed a small plastic bag containing heroin. While being processed at the Detention Center, two (2) additional plastic baggies with Heroin (residue), Suboxone and Tramadol pills were found in his underclothing. He was charged with CDS possession of Heroin, Suboxone, Tramadol and Possession of Paraphernalia (baggie).

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY CASE #17-22369: On April 30, 2017, at approximately 11:30am, Deputy R. Kreps was dispatched to Old Town Road, in Huntingtown, for the report of damaged property. He made contact with the victim who advised he found the rear entry door window broken, the kitchen french door was damaged and eight (8) windows were broken. He last checked on his property April 23rd, around 11:30am, and there was no damage at that time.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY CASE #17-21687: On April 26, 2017, Deputy N. Buckler was dispatched to Central Square Drive, in Prince Frederick, for the report of damaged property. He spoke with the complainant who stated he had gone into the Outback restaurant at approximately 8:30pm, and returned to his vehicle about 10:00pm to find his driver's side mirror had been bent and the bracket was broken. There are no suspects at this time.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT CASE #17-22308: On April 29, 2017, Deputy R. Wilson was dispatched to the Solomon's Island Taco Bell parking lot to assist Deputy D. Naughton with a vehicle chase that ended in the Taco Bell parking lot. While conducting their investigation, another male arrived on the scene who claimed to be friends of the driver of the fleeing motorcycle. The male later identified as Brandon Currie, 22, of Leonardtown, MD, was told to leave the immediate area so Officers could safely conduct their investigation. When Currie refused to leave the area, he was informed he would be placed under arrest for hindering an investigation. Currie continued to prevent Deputy Wilson from assisting the other Officers by interfering and not following orders. He was placed under arrest for Obstructing and Hindering.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT CASE #17-22265: On April 29, 2017, Deputy B. Boerum was dispatched to Solomon's Island Road/West Dares Beach Road, in Prince Frederick, for several complaints of an intoxicated white male attempting to cross the road. Upon arrival to the area, he witnessed a white male, later identified as James Johnson, II, 66, of Morganza, MD, staggering and having a difficult time keeping his balance. While speaking with Johnson, he detected a strong odor of alcoholic beverage emitting from his breath and he was not able to sit without falling down. Due to the fact he was placing himself and others in danger, he was placed under arrest and charged with Intoxicated Endanger and Disorderly Conduct.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT CASE #17-21938: On April 28, 2017, Deputy A. Ostazeski responded to Bald Eagle Lane, in Lusby, for the report of a disorderly subject and an assault. Prior to units arriving on the scene, the complainant and victim stated the suspect fled the scene in his vehicle. Deputy R. Evans located the suspect De'Aune Clybourne, 23, of Lexington Park, MD, on Gunsmoke Trail, in Lusby. He was found to be driving while impaired. Clybourne was subsequently arrested and charged with three (3) counts of DWI, carrying a Concealed Dangerous Weapon, Disorderly Conduct, Intoxicated Endanger and 2nd Degree Assault.

THEFT CASE #17-22247: On April 29, 2017, Deputy C. Callison responded to the Prince Frederick indoor pool, located at Auto Drive, for the report of a theft. Upon my arrival he spoke with the victim who explained they arrived at the pool around 5:00pm and placed their personal belongings into two (2) lockers in the female locker room. Upon returning to the lockers around 7:00pm, they discovered both lockers had been rifled through and the following items were stolen: tan tote bag (with logo "BFF"), diaper bag, three (3) hair brushes, bath products (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, medicated soap), two (2) girls dresses (one red; one black/white spotted), 2 pairs of girls underclothing, 2 size large women's shirts (one olive green; one tan/gold stripes), a black Victoria Secret's bra and a white Nike baseball hat.

THEFT CASE #17-21835: On April 27, 2017, Deputy R. Shrawder was dispatched to Shannon Way, in Port Republic, for the report of a theft. Upon arrival the victim explained she had furniture delivered around 12:30 that day by the same two (2) movers that were previously at their home the week before. At that time the movers had shown interest in the mixed Bernese Mastiff puppies they were selling. The movers parked their delivery truck near the six (6) puppies they kept in a secured play pen. When the movers left she checked on the puppies and one (1) was gone.

THEFT CASE #17-21742: On April 27, 2017, Deputy N. Buckler was dispatched to Adelina Road, in Prince Frederick, at approximately 3:30am for a theft from vehicle in progress. The victim stated because they heard their (unlocked) car door open, they turned on the outside lights and observed a white male inside their car. The Control Center was able to put out a broadcast describing the suspect and the direction he took off running. Deputy E. Basham assisted with the search and advised he observed a white male subject walking on Adelina Road, in the area of Sixes Road, matching the description of the suspect. He was able to confirm Christopher Freeman, 34, of Prince Frederick, was the subject seen in the victim's vehicle. Freeman was transported to the Detention Center and charged with Theft less than $1000.
