To who? These people are all so intertwined that the best way to lose your job and become a target of a bogus investigation that will ruin your life is to blow the whistle on them. That only works when the crook is a Republican; Democrats always skate, especially in a Democrat state.

There have also been some other really famous political figures who wrote hugely successful books that nobody recalls reading.
See Michelle Obama, Barrack Obama, Al Goe, I think Bernie Sanders has a few books out too.
IThe dumber they are, the more books they sell (that nobody can seem to recall ever seeing, let alone reading).

Yes, but when you are the one directing a govt agency to buy your book, that's a whole new level. News out today is that MAIF (The semi-governmental Maryland Automobile Insurance Fund) dontaed money to Healthy Holly LLC to fund the purchase of books for a charitable cause. Oddly enough, this was right before the Mayor threw her support behind legislation that MAIF wanted.

Great scheme. You sit in a position to direct government contracts. If something comes up, you direct the entity to make a directed contribution to 'Associated Black Charities' which then kicks those back to an LLC controlled by you in exchange for some worthless tinsel. In addition to paying yourself a nice salary, you also have a slush fund that you can use for political contributions to get other democrats elected who have your back.

When enrolled in CCCC which eventually spawned CSM, a "professor" had listed as required material, a book written by a colleague of his. The lemming that I was as a teenager, I purchased the required material for ~$100. In the course of the class there was one question on one quiz that referenced one sentence about 1/2 way through the 200+ page book. From that day forward I knew that college was a money making racket and nothing more. I learned you have to pay to play.

Tell that to my wife with her Registered Nurse degree from CCCC. And my daughter struggling through the same program. It may not be UMD, but it's college. Shut up already.
