I was on Royal Caribbean back in March and they had smoking in the casino, the bars, and topside port. No smoking in the staterooms though.

Really? When I was reading the website I didn't think you could smoke indoors anywhere. I figure we wouldn't spend much time in the room anyway.

In My Opinion
last cruise I took was to places like
Isreal, Spain, Egypt, Diego Garcia, you know, the fun spots.

Which cruise line did you use? Where did you go?

My brother and SIL just got home from a cruise last night and we talked to them throughout the trip. They had an AWESOME time and kept telling us we should go. We have been thinking about it anyway, so I think it's time to start planning.

Looking for suggestions and info :) Oh and we will be leaving the kiddos behind

TIA

I went through Carnival. I went to St. Martin, St. Thomas, Bahamas. It as my first one and my bf's 3rd one. It was awesome!! Can't wait to go again!!

For 2 round trip flights to/from BWI/Miami, plus our cruise for 2 and a hotel over night in Miami, it was 2k, which i thought was a great price!!

My husband and I took our 1st cruise on Royal Caribbean and loved it! We loved it so much that we went back this past December and tried Princess. First time we went with friends and went for 14 days on a cruise that left from Baltimore and returned us to New Orleans. Second cruise we left from FL and came back there. This cruise was 10 days. We met a group of people through the internet and ended up going on all our excursions with said group. I still keep in touch with one of the girls I met. We've been to a lot of the islands now and really would like to go to the Caribbean again. Wouldn't go on a cruise to Caribbean for less than 10 days. Just to much to see there! Next June we are supposed to go on a cruise to Alaska, again with friends. I'm really looking forward to going to Alaska!

Royal carribean is coming out with a boat in 2009 that will have a zipline, carnival rides, an outdoor theatre, and much much more. They just put out the book for it yesterday. This is the one we are gonna book. It even has the rooms facing inside the boat and a HUGE walkway through the middle filled with shops.

Holy crap, a zipline? Hubby & I did the canopy zipline tour in St. Lucia on our honeymoon. It was so much fun ziplining through the jungle. And carnival rides? Sounds like a great time.

Yup, Oasis of the Seas. It looks amazing. Dang, the rates are always so much more expensive for the cruise dates when the kids are out of school.

Oasis is going to be an amazing ship. We did a cruise on Freedom (currently the largest) earlier this year and couldn't imagine them building anything bigger but here it is. We're probably going to book something on Oasis in 2010.
