Just where is this "Democracy" they are speaking of? Because we don't live in one and we never have. We are in a Constitutional Republic, not a Democracy. And that knowledge is a threat to the demonrats, because they hate the Constitution.
In a Democracy you can get convicted with a simple majority. Our Constitution requires a unanimous verdict. After Roe v Wade became the law of the land many states voted to outlaw abortion. The voters had a majority (as in a Democracy) and the states outlawed abortions. The Supreme Court overturned those laws and said they infringed on individual rights as they interpreted the Constitution at that time. In other words, not Democracy. Recently the interpretation was changed to make Roe v Wade invalid.
