You'd think Tarantino could think of another way to die besides being buried alive...he did that in Kill Bill Vol. 2.

Would you be as concerned or excited about the finale if they offed Greg?

I would feel the same if they offed anyone on there, except for Sarah...She annoys me as well. But I do like the rest of the team. I also agree that it was a great episode last night.

I can't believe Nick went through all that and then they flung him onto his face.

At some point (about half way through the show) Katherine goes to a casino to ask her father for the million dollar ransom. Gorshin was sitting at the table with her father....

Didn't catch the name - he might have even been playing himself. He was a buddy of Sam Braun, and they were hanging out with two other people having cocktails.

Further reading includes copious spoilers: If you recorded it and havent watched yet, do not continue reading, because I'm going to be talking about things that happen late in the show, and the ending.

That was the most intense CSI yet. And it had Tarantino's signatures all over it. The music, the dialog, and the flying viscera. I would have guessed it was a Tarantino piece even if I didn't know it beforehand.

The bit where Warrick was telling Nick about his chick and the thugs - did that come off as totally Un-Warrick-like, or was it just me? He's never seemed like that much of a braggart before. It just didn't seem like him.

I did like the delivery-guy's lawyer. For my money there just aren't enough midgets wearing cowboy hats on TV.

Buried alive: Been done, but here it's been done better. A plexiglass coffin - so you can see exactly what's happened to you - is cruel on several levels. In Kill Bill, when the Bride was buried alive, I didn't get the absolute sense of claustrophobia that I did last night. I didn't sit there wondering what I'd do in that situation, like I did last night. I didn't get that incredible rush of relief and sympathy when the Bride broke out like I did with Nick last night.

Poncho? What the hell was that all about?

Lastly, I was disappointed by the confrontation between Nick and that skank-whore at the very end. Frankly, it should have been left out, but if they HAD to include it, they should have had Nick put her in a sack and get a stick to smack everything that sticks up.

I've watched almost all the CSI's so far. This was far and away my favorite one.

Although the one with the Chimera-man was pretty effing cool too.

He really got to flex his acting muscles, and did a great job. :yay:

Meanwhile one of the main characters is going to die in the season finale of NCIS next Tuesday.

I didn't think of it that way, but I bet Tarantino had everything to do with it. When he first woke up in that box and started thrashing around and rolling over, I was impressed. You don't even see acting like that in most movies anymore.

They were talking about George Eads on Don & Mike today and said that in an interview Eads said Tarantino was whispering crazy chit into the litte coffin vent to freak him out - make him think "I really might not make it out of here." :twitch:
