It's "Packs", not "Dens".
A Pack is made up of Dens. Think of it as a school. Each grade is a different Den, and all the grades (dens) combined make up the entire school (pack).

He talks about his one friend doing it, that's how he got the idea. Maybe I'll send a note to that boy's mom. Good thinkin!
