I'm not insinuating it at all, I'm stating it as a fact. I had a roommate once who was not only a porn star but got off on what he termed as "converting" straight men. I terminated our roommate status, however, once I caught him with a married man.Pete said:

I just posted a quick statement in response to your response to Doug. Let me try to elaborate. You don't just look at a woman and think "hole". You want a relationship, you hope for compatiblity with a woman that you can spend the rest of your life with. That feeling you have when you seek a companion, someone you hope will complete you and be your life partner is always directed at someone of the opposite sex, because that is your natrual desire as wired during fetal development. A homosexual person has those same feelings and desires you have, but the attraction is towards the same sex, not the opposite. A sexual deviant is someone that is in it purely for the sexual satisfaction. A straight man that does his wife one night and then finds a knot hole in a tree to satisfy him another night is still a straight man, but he's also a sexaul deviant. It all goes back to sexual deviance, or sexual experimentation, or sexual exploration.
There are 3 kind of people in the world, regardless of sexual preference. Vanilla, Chocolate, and Rocky Road.
Vanilla people prefer your standard run of the mill sex. They don't deviate, they don't experiment, they simply have sex in the standard socially approvable ways.
Chocolate people deviate from the norm a bit. They're kinky, but not too over the top kinky. There are set things they will and will not do, and some things they won't even try.
Then there are the Rocky Road people. These people will try just about anything once, and if they like it they are more likely to do it again. These people are the "sexual deviants".

I disagree with this. Hard to explain it but any guy who has a hankering to push in a stool or have his stool pushed in is homosexual ....period, love or no love, attraction or no attraction. I would conceede that in the homosexual world just like in the straight world there are promiscuos who don't care as long as they get off they are just plain old scuzz buckets.kwillia said:

In this particular post, yes... I'm discussing sexual deviation, which goes back to the roommate who liked to "convert" straight men. Did I honestly think they were converted? No. I don't believe there is a conversion.kwillia said:
Without getting too technical, what I can tell you about my personal experiences in the gay community is this:
1. There are men and women who have never been with a member of the opposite sex. These people are hard wired to be gay and are not attracted to the opposite sex.
2. There are men and women who have been with a member of the opposite sex for various reasons, whether it be attraction or because they thought it was what they were supposed to do. Somewhere along the line they realized that they were not being true to their desires and to themselves. These people identify as gay and therefore are gay.
3. There are men and women who have been with members of both sexes and continue to be with members of both sexes. In a straight club they may be straight, in a gay club they may be gay. This is simply because it's easier to say they're one way or the other rather than explain their bisexuality (something which is frowned upon in both circles, gay and straight).
4. There are men and women who are strictly sexual deviants and simply are looking to get off.
Examples of some of the above.
I have a friend named Justin who has never been with a woman and has never been attracted to a woman. I have a friend named Anna who's never been with a man and has never wanted to be with a man.
I have an ex girlfriend named Christina who was married and has 3 kids but now is only with women. I have a friend named Troy who has a son and was married, but divorced and is now only with men.
I, myself, am openly bisexual and so in a straight bar I am straight and in a gay bar I am gay for the aformentioned reasons.
I have a friend named Chris who identifies himself as gay but will sleep with a woman who identifies herself as a lesbian for no other reason than sexual satisfaction.
I'm sure there are circles in the straight society that operate much the same as they do in the gay society. I'm sure every culture can break itself down in to some basic types of people.
So yes, I was speaking about sexual deviancy and not a commitment between two men or two women... but only in that particular post. I could write a book on the men and women I know who are in long term homosexual relationships that are more loving than most straight relationships I know.

"Deviant" is not a bad word or a character assasination. Gay people are in fact, by definition, deviant. Heterosexuality is the norm, period. Therefore anyone who is outside the norm is....deviant.
