Well my computer is meesing up again.... This morning I turn it on, get online with the DSL for like 10 seconds and a blue screen pops up. So I pulled the battery and plug out to restart it. When I turned it back on it beeps twice at me then a black screen comes up saying to push F1 to continue or F2 for something else. Well the F2 took me to a Dos prompt where I didn't do anything except hit esc. F1 gets me into windows. So I ran the adaware, nothing abnormal came up. Try to get back online and my computer wont see my DSL. :confused: I put my wireless card in and it works fine :shrug: Any ideas?

it said backup your data and re-install the OS lol.......

install any new drivers before this started happening?

Not that I know of. I got online yesterday for a little while, checked the normal sites out and it was fine. Happend so fast this morning I didn't have a chance to do anything to mess it up:lmao:

It would be wise to backup your data to an external device like flash drive, external hard drive....or something like that and then reinstall the operating system.

Yeah it's a work computer so I'll have to let them mess with it. Always takes a couple weeks to get anything back from them.

Any ideas on what could have caused this? Last time something went wrong they had some system board or something replaced, and anyther time replaced the hard drive, then on other time just reloaded everything. I have been pushing them into getting me a new laptop, maybe now they finally will.

Could be hardware or software related, depending upon what the BSOD (blue screen of death) said.

I am hoping thats what it is. I only go to a few websites so I would hope I didn't pick anything up from one of them.

It could be hardware or software with the BSOD. If it does it again write down the Error and Stop Code and post it, we can make bets on what it is :lol:

Was on the phone with Verizon for about an hour, My IT office for 30 min, now with dell for an hour listening to them try to figure this out

Bad NIC have to replace motherboard :shrug: WTH is this Star Trek or something :confused:

They just replaced this part like 6 months ago
