Danica will make her debut on February 6, 2010 in the ARCA Racing Series, Lucas Oil Slick Mist 200 at Daytona. The race airs LIVE, flag-to-flag on SPEED at 4pm EST.

My Prediction is that Danica will have more wins in Nationwide than Jr will in Sprint / Nationwide ! Maybe Natiowide Rookie of Year , thats when Hendrick gives Jr the boot! :killingme:killingme:killingme

No way.

It took drivers far more talented than Danica years to figure out how to drive a stock car. Instant success won't happen.

I expect her to run very well in ARCA because she'll have THE best equipment in a playing field that's just right for her. But that's just ARCA and she'll struggle in Nationwide.

I've gotta give props to Danica. It's very ballsy for her to jump over to stock cars with no experience. I think she realizes this isn't going to be easy. Smoke and Pablo might've had instant success, but they're also two of the greatest drivers of all time.

This could be very interesting. There have been women in NASCAR who have come and gone with mediocrity but that's mostly because they haven't had the money behind them and the equipment to compete. Danica does have the money, and the equipment. This is going to be very interesting.

Not really.

Performance wise, the 88 ran as good as anyone in the second half of 09. Junyer might've had a lot of top-5 finishes if I hadn't jinxed them every week :evil:

18 wins in Spitcup (17 more than White Bread), 22 wins in Nationwide and 2 Nationwide championships, former Daytona 500.

I bash Junyer just to be facetious. Like him or hate him, his resume's well written.

EVERYONE (except Jimmie Johnson) has bad seasons. Even the great Dale Earnhardt struggled in the late 90s. Jeff Gordon went winless for over a year. Kevin Harvick hasn't won a race since Daytona in 2007. Stewie missed the Chase in 2006. Kyle Busch missed the Chase this year. I guess they're all bad drivers as well. :sarcasm:

You can't compare Jr & Lagano. It's apples & oranges. Jr has been driving for years yet Lagano isn't even 20 yrs old.

And I predict Danica will be just another open wheeler that gets in the way of real drivers. If she doesn't wreck herself, the pro's will wreck her when she gets in their way.

Not sure why, but for some reason I am not pumped up on the Danica Crack everybody is trying to sell. I think she will come into the picture and then disapear just as quickly.
