She finished 6th

She's making her NASCAR Nationwide Series debut tomorrow at Daytona. Coverage of the Drive4COPD 300 begins at 1pm EST on ESPN2.

Expect HUGE ratings for the Nationwide race... This will probably be the most watched Nationwide race ever. The ARCA race scored a Nielsen rating of 2.3 and was the highest rated program in it's timeslot last Saturday. Second highest rated broadcast ever on SPEED (second only to the 2009 All Star Race) beating out NASCAR Truck Series races, the Gatorade Duels at Daytona and the 2008 NASCAR All Star Race. For ARCA, that's earth shattering.

By the way, I must point out, she was fifth fastest in Nationwide Series final practice.

I'm far from a Danica-fan. Actually kind of pissed that she's running tomorrow's race because she screwed Kelly Bires out of his ride for the race. But she's selling tickets and bringing a HUGE fanbase in to the sport that desperately needs something new and exciting.
