Day Laborers Available?

Where does one find available day laborers near Brandywine/Waldorf? Someone told me to try looking in the parking lot of Home Depot or Lowe's. Would that be the case for the Waldorf stores? I may need 2 laborers for tomorrow, and I'm hoping they have their own transportation to drive to the job site.

Not too much at the Waldorf stores unless they are there early in the morning, but there are a ton of Julio's at the Oxon Hill Home Depot all hours of the day.

I'm not wanting to go that far to find people, especially if they don't have their own transportation.

I shop at the Waldorf stores regularly and don't recall seeing anyone out there, then again I'm not usually there early in the morning either.

I would try the 7-11 in Brandywine (Cedarville Road and 301)...

...maybe even the QuickShop in Hughesville because a bunch of Mexicans live behind the Tobacco Warehouses... not sure if they hang out there in the morning, but they rent the little houses behind the warehouses.

We will be passing by that 7-11 about 9-ish, so if we don't have the people we need by then, we'll stop through there.

Due to the cold temperatures, we're not even planning to start working until 9 or 10 AM. Hopefully we'll be above freezing by then. I even bought extra hand/foot warmer packs for everyone to use.

thanks for the additional resource - we want to be sure we have enough help so hopefully there will still be people looking for work around 9/10 AM if we find ourselves under-staffed.

I always got my "help" at the 7/11 near Pinefield. Always 5 or 6 there.
