Anyone have a recommendation for a good daycare center in the area? I came across one called Starmaker Learning Center and was wondering if anyone is familiar with it. Any others worth checking into? Any input would be appreciated! I will be needed childcare for an infant in about 4 months.
thanks!

I am so very blessed
You might be really challenged to find daycare....any daycare at all....for a child under two. I have been on a waiting list since last May, and my son's name just came up for a slot in May.

There are so few slots available....

starmaker was the only decent daycare that would take an infant with a 3 months waiting list when I was trying

Thanks everyone!!! I think I will send in an app. to Starmaker and hope for the best. I just hope that 4 months in advance is enough... keeping my fingers crossed!

Have you thought about utilizing a home based child care provider?

That would be a possibility. The thing is that I currently live 10 hours away and won't be moving until right before my job starts (which I am still hoping to find) in August... and since I won't be able to interview any home daycares in person, I feel like a center might be a good way to go, at least at first. If anyone knows of any amazing homecare providers that are accepting infants in August/September though, I'd be very interested in possibly trying to take a trip out there to meet with them. It's just harder without a recommendation, know what I mean?
